When I got pregnant, one of the first things I did was join a group called Mamistad. Mamistad's organizer matches up women who are pregnant with their first child into groups with due dates that are within a few weeks of each other. During the last 10 months, the women in my group have gotten together every few weeks to talk about being pregnant, becoming a mom and generally, just becoming friends. It has been great to have a small circle of women who are going through the same things I am.

Today, the 3 of us who have had our babies got together for the first time. Lily was introduced to Henry, born October 8 (left, above), and Jude, born November 18 (middle, above). While the three babies slept the ENTIRE time in their mothers' arms, the 3 of us had a great time talking about labor, delivery and motherhood. As we were leaving, Lily woke up, which is why she is the only one with her eyes open in the photo above. The boys were happy to just kick back and relax while their mom's did the talking. I'm sure Henry and Jude will make great playmates for Lily in the coming months, and hopefully, years.
