This is Lily's first Easter and it was a beautiful, if not a little chilly day. Lily got dressed up in her first Easter dress, which her NC Grandma bought in March when we were down for a visit. It's for a 12-month old, so we assumed fit would not be an issue. Let's just say that one of the buttons in the back had to be left unbuttoned to accomodate our growing girl! We had a great Easter dinner at our friend Cathy's house then came home to take a bunch of pictures of our girl. There are lots more pictures from today in the April photo folder.
The Easter Bunny made a stop at our house and left Lily her first Easter basket. It had a stuffed bunny, a book called Guess How Much I Love You and two new pacifiers.
Also, Lily really enjoyed the Easter cards she got from both sets of grandparents. She put each card right into her mouth. That's high praise from a 5-month old!
She did not enjoy the set of bunny ears we made her wear for pictures, but she was a trooper. So was Dixon! Happy Easter!
